New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art came alive on the evening of May 5 as the 2025 Met Gala paid tribute to Black history, culture, and fashion. This year's dress code, "Tailored for You," was inspired by the Costume Institute's new exhibition, "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style," which explores Black dandyism, a tradition of defiant elegance where Black men and women have used fashion as a form of resistance, pride, and self-expression for centuries.
